Dear Vanderbilt Graduates:
Based on current CDC public health recommendations Interim Chancellor Wente made the profoundly difficult decision not to hold Vanderbilt Commencement ceremonies this May. While they are postponed, Vanderbilt is committed to holding a set of special events for The Class of 2020 next May.
These are certainly stressful times, but it’s very important not to lose sight of your accomplishment and the fact that you’re about to become a Vanderbilt University Graduate!
In order to help you celebrate your hard work and commitment, your Vanderbilt Commencement Office has asked us to offer a ship to home option for receiving your academic regalia. This will allow you to have regalia to take photos and share with family and friends, wear at the rescheduled commencement, and have a keepsake of this important milestone.
Here is some important information regarding ordering your regalia:
Bachelor’s degree:
Place your order via this website and have your regalia shipped to your home. Shipping will be free.
Master’s degree:
You will be receiving regalia that will be yours to keep. Place your order via this website and have your regalia shipped to your home. Shipping will be free.
Doctoral Degree:
Because of the complexity of the design of Doctoral regalia, we are not able to offer a souvenir version. We certainly understand that you will want to take photographs in your regalia and celebrate with your families prior to next May. There are two options available if you would like to receive your Doctoral regalia.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time, stay healthy, and we wish you all the best, Class of 2020. Don’t forget to celebrate YOU!
